Activities
We offer a wide range of activities which enable each resident to express themselves as a unique individual. Here are a few of them:
- Art and Crafts
- Exercises
- Listening to music
- Manicures
- Visiting entertainers
- Regular sing-a-longs
- Church service – once a week
- Visiting local areas, theatres, garden centres, going to the pub and tea rooms
In addition we spend a lot of time chatting to our residents in their rooms and helping them with any correspondence. We also ensure that everything we learn about our residents is documented to enable us to produce a personal history file called “My Life”.
Also once a year there is a garden fete and funds go towards a local charity.
There are of course other events taking place over the course of the year which we keep residents informed of.
